High water content vegetables to stay hydrated in summer

It is very important to keep yourself hydrated at all times, especially in summer.  Less intake of water can lead to dehydration. While increasing the intake of water can help, you can also get water from vegetables.  There are many vegetables which have high water content. Including these vegetables in your diet, can help contribute a large amount of water.

Cucumber
Cucumber has 97% water and also a rich source of vitamin c. Cucumber also helps in skin irritation and sunburn.

Lettuce
With 95.64% water content, Iceberg lettuce is also rich in fiber, vitamin A and K, potassium and zinc.
Tomatoes
Tomato has 94.50 % water content and also rich in fiber, vitamin C and K, and potassium.
Bell peppers
Bell pepper contains nearly 92% water, vitamin c, vitamin B6 and folic acid.
Spinach
Spinach has 91% water, magnesium, calcium, iron, potassium, vitamin A and vitamin K.

Broccoli
With 90% water, Broccoli is has fiber, iron, potassium, vitamin C and K.
 Zucchini
With water content as high as 95%, Zucchini also has potassium vitamin A and C.

Carrot
Carrots are 88% water, also has potassium, vitamin K and fibers.
